How you get rid of the Cannabis prohibition people in Congress, is you vote them out. Legalizing cannabis is a freedom issue. And any Congress person that does not want people to have freedoms doesn't belong in Congress or the United States.

Eventually those brainwashed by the government back in the 60s and before will all die off and then there will be nothing to stop it. It was never a "gateway" drug, if you are trying to figure out what the real gateway drug is look no farther than alcohol, that is most people's first altered state. All those scare tactics in the 60s didn't really pan out the way they hoped, many of us that were subjected to government brainwashing attempts figured out that we were being lied to early on and lost all respect for the government as a result, after that nothing the government said was taken as fact.
I'm 65 years old and I have smoke pot since I was 17. I started smoking to handle post-traumatic stress disorder. I use it now for pain management. I got caught with some back in 2000 and was sent to a program they called jail diversion in Mobile Alabama. They told me I was going to quit smoking pot that day so I asked him if they were God and I still would not quit smoking pot. I failed my fifth drug test they sentenced me to one year day for day. Now they are fixing to open up dispensaries in Mobile. Mexico and China are sending the drugs into the US and they are arresting and imprisoning American citizens.
Maybe human beings are smarter than mouse; they took marijuana/opium and wars to coop with packed population. Again, one of Medvedev's prophecy is that Christian White will fight against each other, if the war in Ukraine will not carry their dream. More drugs makes sense.
