I think more and more Western countries are legalizing cannabis because their societies are becoming more and more chaotic and stressful. Legalizing it chills out the population a bit and less civil unrest. Singapore can consider legalizing it eventually since it's not much worse than alcohol and better for you than cigarettes. There are also lots of medicinal uses for marijuana. Pain relief one of them and marijuana derivatives like CBD oil which has all sorts of good benefits with which don't produce a high since THC is reduced or removed. It helps as anti inflammatory helps with anxiety and sleep as well as immune system booster. Fun fact. Marijuana was once an herb used by traditional Chinese medicine. It was for digestive symptoms.
