I can assure you many firearm owners smoke weed, love what you are doing for our state regardless keep it up man!
‘’ Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?
Warning: The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside.’’
"Text history and tradition"? When MOST of the founding fathers GREW and smoked their own?🤔
Equal Justice for everyone!
I worked in a dispensary and when we was robbed that was the worst feeling in the world as a employee I knew I couldn't carry at my job due to the law this kinda changed things for us working in the dispensary just saying
Very well done.
☺️
Exercising one right does not exempt another, convince me otherwise.
dont take my grandmas weed away, she has guns <3, im a texas patriot and i dont even live there, God Bless Texas
I'll toke to that
Why is it that citizens are lucky enough to have a treatable medical conditions through cannabis but it's always the elected officials in blue states that are infected with incurable mental disease.
The mere fact the FFLs firearm transfer form even asks if you use marijuana goes against my right to self incrimination as well. So ya might be able to use that’s argument in some way as well.
At this point none of us in Washington have any more rights the the criminals..
Taking the government a lifetime to catch up to what we already know: Rights are rights, no exception.
When are felons going to get the same inalienable rights
Marijuana use is associated with the onset of mental illness.
Marijuana is a mind altering substance. It may impare your ability to be rational. Driving drunk is dangerous.
It seems interesting that the questions on the transfer forms asks if you are an unlawful user… though I have not seen a USC that says it is illegal to use marijuana…. Bill, any thoughts on that? The USC about possessing or obtaining a controlled substance says it is illegal, unless obtained from a “provider” the definition of which includes a person “licensed to dispense”… and in WA you have to have a license to have a marijuana store. So would that make the store a provider?
I don’t know anyone in the marijuana industry, but I would be interested to see if they pay income tax? If so, the federal government says you are a criminal for using/possessing… but we sure don’t have a problem making money off your wages you make selling the drug?
S is wrong
Thank you for keeping us informed and explaining it so very well
Marijuana/ Hemp is an Herb & NOT a drug & was wrongfulky banned- by Democrats btw in 1937 with the assistance of Joseph Goebbels & the 3rd reïch, Anslinger was an ardent Hitler adulterer.
Moving on from that- in the original context of the second amendment, 1791 , Hemp " marijuana" was not only legal – it was mandatory to grow it as it was the #1 National product vital to the US economy.
Hemp " Marijuana " was in fact prodigiously consumed by Benjamin Franklin & many contemporaneous portraits of him showed him with his prized Hemp pipes, George Washington & Thomas Jefferson grew it & likely consumed it as well.
Unlike drugs , the Herb is totally non toxic & not addictive in any way.
Hemp was banned in 1937 to enable inferior products produced by both NAZI Germany & various moguls as W.R. Hearst & the Duponts & others gere in the USA 🇺🇸
At the start of WW2 , Hemp reverted to being called Hemp & not "
"marijuana" & the Hemp for Victory program mandated that ALL Anericans grow at least some Hemp to donate for the War effort as it was VITAL !
Those are the Facts
Alcohol is the true home and life wrecker but it’s all about the money………don’t worry the govt will get its hands into the marijuana pocket and ruin that too.
Community "policing" in Lacey Washington have violated all of those civil rights for my wife and I for over 2 years now, daily, no offense ,no charge no warrant, no judge, just every form of mobbing, noise harassment and disruption techniques possible. Straight out of the German Stasi textbook now used on Americans. unbelieveable but true. A whole community engaged in the most unAmerican thing ive experienced in my life.
It is my understanding that the NFA and the Marihuana Tax Act were written/introduced/sponsored by the same person, using the same tax-and-deny scheme?
Why was NFA not shitcanned when MTA was?
This has ramifications far beyond the cannabis issue. Esp. Solid establishment/precedent for using the Bruen Test rather than “interest balancing”.
Note that an important part of the Bruen Wave is it TAKES AWAY AND NEGATES A SHITTON OF ARGUMENTS that the antis use.
“US has highest gun murder rate of ‘developed nations’”(using cherry-picked data)
— “So? ‘Interest
-balancing’ is not the standard by which constitutionality is determined: historical analogues dating to 1791 is. And specifically not to the mid1800s, that is too late an era to consider.“BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?!?!”

It really covers and negates HUNDREDS of fheir arguments, emotional appeal campaigns, the whole fucking nine yards.
*Maybe it even negates EVERYTHING THEY HAVE GOT*….?

I honestly can say I prefer marijuana to stay illegal and keep my gun rights. Unlike alcohol I guess they know we won't resist
We must all stand together, or we shall surely all hang separately.
Either the entire Constitution applies to all citizens, or none of it applies to any citizen.
The war on drugs created more anti-gun legislation than anything else. If we want to retain our 2A, we need to end the war on drugs.
Since the states weren't bound by the 2nd amendment until after the 14th amendment was passed, why do laws passed by those states NOT BOUND by the 2A matter?? The Federal Government was the only government bound by the 2A around the signing of the 2A and for almost 100 years after….so what laws did the FEDERAL government pass during this time??
We need to ban whiskey. Because it is strong and some people that drink whiskey will drive drunk and kill people. Other alcohol is fine, we just need to ban "assault alcohol". So no one should be able to drink whiskey any more.
Outdoor cannabis growers are under attack in Eastern Washington! There is a farm being shut down for .04PPM DDT in the soil, the national limit by the EPA is 4 to 5 PPM.
Here we go, the dopers using the what about alcohol argument. I can have a beer with my lunch when back at the truck while out hunting and feel absolutely no effect let alone be drunk. Same when carrying concealed when out in my boat fishing. When someone smokes pot they do it to get baked, especially with todays high THC weed they are stoned.
Shall NOT be infringed, period.
Hey Bill. I have a couple questions. Does the parts rule as far as not being able to buy parts for an AR platform. Does that encompass parts for bolt actions as well? What if you wanted to thread your bolt action barrel or buy an aftermarket trigger in your bolt action? Is that still going to be allowed?
😂😂😂😂 hmm….take our guns.
I wonder why?
Washington is going to have a mass exodus next like Cali.
Sucks that it's gonna get more racist for some of us in other so called safer places.
