Sharing with you the new products I have been using in my skincare routine, the holy grails and the skincare fails of 2023 so far.
Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where in todays video I would like to share with you the new skincare products I have been trying for the first time in 2023 and which are holy grails and which are skincare fails.
When it comes to new skin care products, I am blessed to be able to try so many new products as part of the reviews I do for the channel and so in this video I would like to share with you the first impressions of the products I have tried.

I use the Q+A Hyaluronate Toner (thanks to Rob!) after spritzing rose water and before Laneige Toner, and I can say that just a tiny squeeze drowns my skin (I've taken to calling this step "drowning" lol). It is super hydrating and great to use before microcurrent devices and dermarolling. Great product! I got lucky and bought it during the holidays and got a BOGO deal. A little goes a long way!
I love the Rituals of Sakura line, I have the hand wash and the body cream!
I looked at Dr Sam's serum, but I'm hesitant because of the price… I can't wait for you to finish the bottle and maybe make a comparison against A-Game!?🤭

I'm loving brightening ampoule from skin1004, ih has tranexamic acid and work great. I'm looking forward to trying more products from this brand
Thanks for the thorough rundown Rob ❤. Curious about the Krave Beet sunscreen… the original was taken off the market due to it not meeting the sun protection factor that it claimed to, so I kinda don’t see it as a discontinued product more so a dodgy product. Add to that how that saga was handled with the sorry not sorry apology and a lot of customers missing out on their money back. Curious now about it being made in the US… was that always the case or has Krave moved out of Asian production to the US ? If it was always made in the US then how did it end up on shelves originally ?
Cicaplast is way too suffocating for me so i didnt even try the new one. Its like a sunscreen

Thank you for honest reviews. Since the new formulation of the Cicaplast B5 is not as good. I would love to see a video with alternatives for the original formulation.
That Q+A toner is so good that I’m planning on trying out some other products from the line. Need to get that peptide eye cream next.

Ive seen that it have the same ingridients as in your peeling product from MAD (plus you have kodjic acid) BUT my question is, how much of a difference does 2%GA and 2%LA do for the skin? It quit low ahas in these products.

Rob! I totally agree about the LRP Cicaplast Baume 🙁 Any thoughts on trying the Supergoop biodose serum with bakuchiol and spf 46 and giving us a review? I got a sample at Sephora and irs kinda nice . Thanks as always 🙂

I can't believe they reformulated the Cicaplast Baume. Thankfully I bought the last 5 left in Boots of the older one but once i finish them, I'll definitely miss this holy grail.

A new brand I've been trying is The Creme Shop. They surprisingly have good products a d formulas. 2x collagen serum is fantastic, waiting on night gelee mask and strawberry milk toner. I'm pretty excited 😊 you should check them out.
